From the 1990s; here Comme des Garcon have taken the staple of polite society, a floral afternoon tea dress, and present it to us with regular patches of slashed fabric. The dress exists in a state of immediate age, in a state previously considered unsuitable for it’s purpose and raises questions of preconcieved notions.
